Technical description: Brass; gusset in bell; French bell rim. Single gradation on each of the three valve tuning-slides, presumably indicating settings for use with the F|crook. The main tuning slide legs are both provided with an extension piece for low pitch. With fitting for music-card holder.; Nominal pitch: B♭ / A / F.; Type or system: 3-valve orchestral model.; Usable pitch: Built for use at A₄=|452.4|Hz and at A₄=|439|Hz.; Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, bottom sprung with alignment by key on piston, with long top caps and piston stems.
