Bugle in C
Double-coiled brass bugle with nickel-silver trimmings (rim, mouthpiece receiver, ferrule). Tab-seamed tubing. Two brass ring plates located at the mouthpiece receiver and bell rim. Brass mouthpiece and sash steel chain. Nominal pitch: 4-foot C. This instrument belonged to the 111th Bavarian Reserve Infantry Regiment (1915-1918) and was captured by the 4th Battalion Duke of Cambridge’s Own (Middlesex Regiment).
