Portable organ

Portable Organ, 1940 (c); reputedly used by the British Army chaplains in Italy during World War Two; made in the USA; open fronted case with hinged flap on top that folds upwards and is secured on the left hand side with a metal strip; painted black outside and Khaki brown inside - the original colour of the external paint work according to the donor; ivory and wooden keys, possibly mahogany; a pair of foot pedals are hinged at the front edge of the case and attached at the back to khaki webbing straps; internally sprung bellows; music sheet folder.
