Side-blown, boxwood flute made in four sections (head, upper and middle joints, and foot joint), with boxwood cap. One straight flat, square cover, brass key mounted on foot stock bulge, and flat spring attached to key. Oval embouchure hole. Stopper is missing. Nominal pitch: C. This instrument is part of the Albert C. Spencer collection.
