Harp-guitar
Plucked stringed instrument with a pear-shaped, flat-back soundbox and a theorbo-styled neck and pegbox. Back and ribs of maple. Spruce top with round soundhole. Bridge, bridge pins, fretboard, pegboxes and pegs of ebonized wood (black-stained). Ivory imitation frets, nuts and tuning peg buttons. Russian guitar style, with seven main strings and four extra, unfretted bass strings (copper-wound and gut). Top pegbox terminated with square-shaped finial. This instrument is part of the Albert C. Spencer collection.
