Nominal pitch: G. Technical description: Brass. With cylindrical tenon on bell section and ligature restraining screw on valve section at joint. With main tuning-slides in body and in bell. Two water-keys, on bottom bow and on 3rd valve tuning-slide bow. With fitting for music-card holder.3 Périnet valves, bottom-sprung, alignment by screw through casing engaging with channel in piston. Playing accessories: shank with tenon which when inserted in mouthpiece receiver adds 50mm to sounding length (probably not original). Usable pitch: Probably built for use at A₄=|452.4|Hz.
