A set of Highland bagpipes made from blackwood, with silver and ivory mounts. The pipes have a silver shield-shaped plaque which reads "THIS BAGPIPE WAS / PRESENTED TO / N. T. MCKENZIE. / AS A BIRTHDAY GIFT / -FROM- / HIS LOVING FATHER / 30TH OF OCTOBER 1892"
