Highland bagpipe
A set of Highland bagpipes made from cocus wood and mounted with ivory and nickel silver. The two main sections of the drones are lined with brass, a common but not universal feature of MacDougall drones. Several generations of the MacDougall family were in business from 1792 to 1990 as bagpipe makers in Perth, Edinburgh, and Aberfeldy.
