Whistle
This type of whistle was usually used in the countryside, probably as a dog call. It was originally purchased in 1910, from J. E. Beales Novelty Stores, in Bournemouth. It is a small single-chamber, round whistle made of turned bone, having a shaped beak mouthpiece with a wooden block, a semi-circular window, and a well turned ball knop for a lanyard. The hole of the knop has some residual material of glassy texture.
