Miniature cornet

This instrument was used during the Boer War by Mr. Harry Poulton of Hounslow. It is a double-coiled, miniature cornet made of silver-plated brass with a thick tarnished patina. It has with three piston valves, and cork bumpers. There is one water-key on the first bow. Although the size of the instrument looks overall small, the pitch remains the same of a regular cornet, as the only difference is in the consolidated tube wrapping. Nominal pitch: B-flat.
