Bow
Silver mounted viola bow with an octagonal Pernambuco wood stick.The frog is made of ebony, and silver is used overall for the ferrule, underslide and three-piece button. Mother-of-pearl is used for the eye (with silver ring), both heel plates and the slide. The face is made from mammoth. Silver wire wrapping and a black thumb leather protect the octagonal handle. The stick repair close to the head is covered with a band of light coloured thread.
