Bow

Gold mounted violin bow with a round stick Pernambuco wood stick. The "stopped" Hill fitting, which is common for tortoiseshell frogs, consists of a pair of flats marking the frog area at the end of the handle. The frog is made of tortoiseshell and has a gold fleur-de-lys inlay, as well as a gold ferrule, face and two small heel plates. The slide and part of the back heel plate are made from mother-of-pearl. The three-piece button is made from gold and has an ebony core. Silver wire wrapping and a black thumb leather protect the octagonal handle. The stamp is currently covered with a piece of leather.
