Bow

Silver mounted violin bow with a round Pernambuco wood stick. The frog is made from tortoiseshell and silver is used overall for the ferrule, underslide and heel plates. The slide and eye, with a silver ring, are made of mother-of-pearl. The three-piece button is made from silver on ebony with a mother-of-pearl eye on its end. Silver wire wrapping and a black thumb leather that continues to the end of the handle and covers the stamp, protect the octagonal handle.
