Bow

Nickel mounted violin bow with an octagonal Pernambuco wood stick. The ebony frog has a mother-of-pearl slide and eye. Nickel is used for the ferrule, heel plate, underslide and three-piece button with a mother-of-pearl eye on its end. The face protecting the tip is made of bone. A silver wire wrapping and a black thumb leather protect the stick near the frog. 'M4 201' is stamped onto the handle between the frog and button.
