Transverse flute in B flat. Boxwood. Four joints. Cork lapped tenons. Four ivory ferrules and cap. One key (removed) mounted in turned ring; hole now stopped with cork and sealing-wax. Fixed cork stopper. Stamped: ASTOR No.79 CORNHILL, London (marked with Royal Arms and Unicorn Mark).
