Transverse flute, nominal pitch C. Boxwood. Four joints plus two extra upper body joints (corps-de-rechange). Three ivory ferrules and cap. Six silver keys, flat, square, mounted in turned blocks and rings. Movable ivory bushed cork stopper. The three upper joints (corps-de-rechange), numbered 4, 5 and 6. In fitted wooden case. Stamped: Potter Senior London (marked 1777).
