Clarinet. Nominal pitch: A. Boxwood with ebony mouthpiece, ivory ferrules and brass keywork, without tuning slide. Five pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, left hand joint, right hand joint integral with lower joint, bell. Thirteen keys, flat, round, mounted in turned blocks and ring, three keys in saddles. Long keys not overlapped. C sharp/G sharp key on left hand section. Ebony mouthpiece without inscription is possibly original. Stamped: Goulding & Co. Soho Square, London (Crown mark). On bell: Goulding & D'Almaine.
