Soprano saxophone in B flat. Plated brass body and wooden mouthpiece (probably original). One piece straight body. Fourteen keys, including covered holes. Non-automatic octaves. Length without mouthpiece: 541mm. Bore diameter at mouthpiece receiver: 7/8mm. External diameter of bell: 67mm. Stamped: ‘Adolphe Sax & Cie, Paris’ (numbered 10183). Also inscribed: ‘RUDALL. ROSE, CARTE & Co./Sole Agents,/100 New Bond Street,/ LONDON’; and Sax monogram.
