Oboe
Oboe. Nominal pitch: C. Stained boxwood with silver keywork and one ivory ferrule at the top of the lower joint. Three joints. The upper joint terminates in an onion and cotton reel finial. Three keys (two of which are duplicate E flat keys) have flat, round flaps and are mounted in turned rings. There are twin holes for F/F sharp and G/G sharp. Two vent holes at top of the bell, which has a number of turned rings. Stamped 'STANESBY/IUNIOR' on all three joints.
