A large gong on a mid-19th-century Gothic carved oak stand; the gong of beaten brass, possibly of Middle Eastern origin; the stand English, with round-arched top-rail springing from the castellated tops of stop-chamfered trestle supports, linked below by a deep cross-rail pierced with three quatrefoils.
