Gopiyantra; variable tension chordophone
G?p?yantra-type variable tension chordophone. The conical wooden resonator is covered with a red cotton textile and brown paper. It has a skin base. A length of bamboo is split to form two ams attached to the resonator and surmounted by a cylindrical pegbox. The single twisted fibre string runs through the base of the resonator to the peg at the opposite end.
