Idioglot clarinet
Charotka, idioglottal clarinet. A cylindrical reedpipe with an opened node at the distal end. The proximal end is stopped with a translucent white substance that has been rounded off to form a domed head. An upcut idioglot reed with a rounded tip is positioned near the proximal end. Seven finger holes and one thumbhole are cut and burnt into the body, the thumb hole slightly above the first finger hole. A black tape band encircles the body between the third and fourth finger holes.
