Concertina
English system concertina. Fruitwood ends with pine backing, five fold leather edged bellows with green and white papers. Green leather thumb straps and cover on little finger rests. Forty-eight buttons, probably of bone, with stamped with note names. The edges of both ends stamped: 'SPRAGUE/LONDON'. A card insert on the right-hand end is stamped: 'BY HER MAJESTY'S LETTERS PATENT/C. WHEATSTONE/INVENTOR/20, CONDUIT St. REGENT St./LONDON'. Serial number '894' stamped on pine backing of the left-hand end.
