Transverse flute. Boxwood. Four joints. Four ivory ferrules. End cap, presumably ivory, is missing. Seven holes and block mounts for four keys (all missing). String lapped tenons. Head joint is stamped: GOULDING.WOOD &Co/PALL MALL/LONDON with a three-feathered crest directly above the inscription. The other three joints are all stamped: GOUDING, WOOD & Co
