Transverse flute

Transverse flute. Rosewood. Three joints. Four ivory ferrules and seven silver keys, block mounted with square, leather covered flaps. Tenons lapped with white string. Also includes wooden, felt lined case with brass hooks and locking mechanism, a small screw driver and a guarantee document. Head joint stamped: MONZANI & Co; body joint stamped: MONZANI & Co/24 DOVER ST/LONDON/968; foot joint stamped: MONZANI & Co/PATENT KEYS; Emblem of crown appears above inscriptions on head joint, foot joint and on all three keys of the body joint.
