Transverse flute
Transverse flute. Ebony. Three joints. Cap and three ivory ferrules in ivory. Eight silver keys block mounted with square leather covered flaps. Also extra B-flat lever. Head joint and foot joint are stamped: MONZANI & Co.; Body joint stamped: MONZANI & Co./24 DOVER ST/LONDON/847; Crown emblem is stamped above each inscription and on every key flap.
