Tenor horn. Brass with silver plating, most of which has perished. Bell-forward configuration. Three Périnet valves. Curved stays. Elaborate floral engravings on bell surround stamped inscription: W.HILLYARD/MAKER/61 & 62 High St./Bloomsbury/London/2452; Valve casings are stamped: 1,2,3 respectively.
