Transverse flute. Boxwood. Three joints. Nickel silver fluted ferrules and end cap. Six block mounted nickel silver keys with square flat flaps and leather pads. String lapped tenons. Six tone holes. Some alteration or repair work visible between second and third tone holes. Head joint is stamped: MONZANI/I; Body joint is stamped: PATENT/MONZANI/3 OLD BOND.STr./LONDON/707; Foot joint is stamped: PATENT/MONZANI; Crown emblem is also stamped on each joint.
