Oboe. Nominal pitch: C. Stained boxwood with silver keywork and three extant ivory ferrules (bell rim ferrule missing). Three joints, straight top joint. Two block mounted keys. E key has round flap and no pad, fishtail C key has missing flap/pad. String lapped tenons. Upper joint and lower joint are stamped: BLAND & WELLER/NO. 23/OXFORD STREET; Bell is stamped: BLAND & WELLER/NO. 23 OXFORD STREET/LONDON
