Oboe. African blackwood (grenadilla) body with nickel silver-plated ferrules and keys. Three joints. Cork lapped tenons. Onion and cotton reel top. Simple-system fingering with brille and two octave keys. Keys are pillar mounted with fish skin pads. Key on bell is operated by long shank and touch piece on lower joint. Lower joint is stamped on reverse: 1029
