Tenor oboe, vox humana. Nominal pitch: F. Fruitwood body. Brass keywork and one ivory ferrule. Two joints. String lapped tenon. Six tone holes. Keys with square flat flaps with leather pads. Three keys in lower joint, two block mounted and one saddle mounted. Block mounted steel-sprung G-sharp key in upper joint is a later addition. Upper joint is stamped: LONGMAN & BRODERIP/LONDON; Lower joint is stamped: LONGMAN & BRODERIP/NO. 26 CHEAPSIDE/LONDON
