Transverse flute. Ebony. Three joints. Silver ferrules and keys. Eight keys, block mounted with circular flat flaps and leather pads. Duplicate B-flat touch piece. Cork lapped tenons. Head joint is stamped: MONZANI & CO./2; Body joint is stamped: MONZANI & Co./24 DOVER St/LONDON/1484; Foot joint is stamped: MONZANI & Co.; Crown emblem is stamped above these body joint and foot joint inscriptions and on every key flap. The word: PATENT; is also stamped on the body joint and foot joint.
