Transverse flute
Transverse flute. Ebony body and endcap. Five joints. Eight block mounted nickel silver keys with saltspoon cups and leather stuffed pads. Nickel silver ferrules with embossed decoration. Head joint has tuning slide, probably of steel, 40mm in length. String lapped tenons. Upper joint, lower joint and foot joint are stamped: MILHOUSE/LONDON
