Oboe. Nominal pitch: B-flat. Rosewood body with polish coating. Nickel silver keywork, reed receiver and ferrules. Three joints. Tenon on upper joint wrapped with paper. Keys have circular flat flaps and leather/cork pads. Conservatoire system fingering with brille key converted to simple side-keys of C and B flat, the rings being disconnected. Upper joint stamped: BREVETE/TRIEBERT/A PARIS/BARRET/A LONDRES; Lower joint stamped: BREVETE/TRIEBERT/A PARIS; Bell stamped: BARRET/A LONDRES/BREVETE/TRIEBERT/A PARIS; Each inscription incorporates a castle motif beneath the word BREVETE.
