Transverse flute. Nominal pitch: F. Cocuswood body. Three joints. Embossed silver plated ferrules. Six silver plated keys, block mounted with flat circular flaps and leather pads. Body joint and foot joint each have three keys and three tone holes. String lapped tenons. Head joint and foot joint stamped: MONZANI & Co.; Body joint stamped: MONZANI & Co./28. REGENT ST/PICCADILLY/LONDON/2036/PATENT; Crown emblem is stamped above each of these keys and on the end of one shank/key flap of body joint. Ferrule on foot joint is hallmarked for 1820.
