Slide trumpet. Brass. Helical spring slide return mechanism. Decorative boss on bell stem. Mouthpipe and two ferrules at distal bow embossed with spiral design. Bell garland with embossed floral decoration. Inscription stamped in a ring around the garland reads: T. HARPER'S IMPROVED MANUFACTURED by I KOHLER T. HARPER'S IMPROVED MANUFACTURED by I KOHLER; A crescent shaped outline on the front of the garland contains the stamped inscription: 35/Henrietta/St/Covent Garden/London
