Fiddle; piwaang
Piwaang, fiddle. The instrument is carved from a single piece of wood, stained black, with an oval back and tapering neck. The peg-box terminates in a stylised horse's head. Four wooden pegs. Skin soundtable with five circular soundholes. Small wooden bridge with three grooves for the three gut strings.
