Whistle, duct flute. The tubular body of unglazed clay. The duct is a narrow slot that runs approximately half the length of the instrument. The mouth or window is roughly circular. The flat edge of the stopped distal end has a hole threaded with a strip of reed. Shallow marks, mostly consisting of straight lines, are cut into the surface along the top and on the side to the player’s left.
