Hourglass-shaped drum
Hourglass-shaped wooden drum with two elongated arched handles flanking the central waist. The surface of the drum is engraved with several raised triangular areas pointing towards the ends and the central cylindrical section between the handles. The faces of ?pigs are engraved on several of the triangles whilst others are engraved with abstract motifs. A fish is carved in one place near the base. The drum is painted black and the engraving is inlaid with white lime paint. Approximately 50 mm of the shell from the open distal end has been left unpainted. Monitor lizard skin head, glued to the shell.
