Cylindrical drum
Double membrane cylindrical drum. The woooden shell decorated with four lateral bands of red and yellow triangles outlined in black, and with a central band of scrolling foliage in yellow on a red ground. The hide membranes are lapped onto flesh hoops. A twisted vegetable fibre lacing runs between the counter hoops and terminates at a shoulder strap, which is tied to a metal ring attached to a disc on the the side of the shell. The lacing is tensioned by knotted loops of leather.
