Percussion tube
Sede, percussion tube, made from a large-section tube of bamboo. One half of the instrument is longitudinally cut into a bars projecting from the central node, which resonate with a metallic tone when the other half of the instrument is beaten with two sticks. Instruments such as this were used on board large lakatoi trading boats.
