Whistle; duct flute
Whistle, owl call, duct flute. The cylindrical wooden body is stopped with a flat circular face at the distal end. The beak is decorated with three turned grooves. The mouth or window is triangular with the chamfer down the two side edges. The proximal face is slightly angled with a shallow round block. The upper edge of the beak is rounded in profile.
