English-system concertina. Flat mahogany ends, 6.25in/159mm across parallel sides. Simple fretwork. 48 buttons: 24 each side, ivory with black accidentals, stamped and bushed. Four-fold green leather bellows, with gold star papers. Straps and metals absent, nickel screws. Oval scalloped paper label: Patent concertina by George Case, Boosey & Sons, Holles St, London; Serial number 2343 (ends), 1977 (side stamps).
