Concertina
English-system concertina. Flat rosewood ends, 6.12in/155mm across parallel sides. Simple fretwork. 48 buttons: 24 each side, ivory with black accidentals, stamped. Round-end steel reeds, with large: JJ Vickers; rubber stamp on under-action. Five-fold green leather bellows with gold star papers. Later leather straps with brass screws. Oval paper label: Improved English Concertina, warranted, London manufacture; No serial number.
