Concertina
English-system concertina. Flat nickel ends, 6.5in/165mm across parallel sides, with fancy frets bevelled flush to edge. Bushed action frames crudely perforated. 48 flat nickel buttons. Round-end steel reeds in 'Broad' Jones style. Five-fold crude leather bellows with gold star papers. Later crude leather straps. Aluminium strap metals and finger rests with one brass screw on left end. Oval stamp on right end: T Shakespeare, Maker, 100 Oakley St, SE; Serial number 5954 (end, pan and bellows - probably G Jones parts put together by T Shakespeare).
