Oboe. Nominal pitch: C. Rosewood stained black with silver-plated keywork and three ivory ferrules, one at the top of each of the three joints. Baluster top. Nine keys with round, flat flaps. Keys are mounted in blocks. Lowest note C. Twin holes for third finger left hand (G/G sharp). Two vent holes at top of bell. Stamped: WYLDE, LONDON from RUDALL ROSE 25 VILLIERS STREET, LONDON.
