Concertina
Anglo-German system concertina. Rectangular bevelled rosewood ends, 5.38x6.31in/137x160mm. Fretting with muslin backing. Two thick brass bolts per end. 26 broad ebony buttons: 13 each side numbered 0-12. Broad steel tongues riveted into two zinc reed plates. Six-fold brown leather bellows, with gold tooling on frames. Leather straps secured to hollowed hand bar by double toothed buckle and pair of screws. Reed plates stamped: Henry Harley Maker, London; Oval paper label: Improved Concertina Manufacturer, Henry Harley, 22 Brunswick Place, City Rd, London; No serial number.
