D?sh?, a duct flute of bamboo with one opened node near the foot. The top of the block is flush with the proximal end of the tube, and the long mouth or window has a narrow rectangular opening. Seven round fingerholes, and one thumbhole below the first fingerhole. Four tuning or suspension holes near the foot. A hole in the side above the finger holes is plugged. The whole instrument is decorated in poker work with designs resembling anchors in an interlaced framework forming lozenge shaped spaces.
