Baritone English-system concertina. Flat bevelled rosewood ends, 7.06in/179mm across parallel sides. Simple fretwork with pine backing. 48 ivory buttons, black accidentals, stamped. Round-end brass reeds. Six-fold green leather bellows with gold star papers. Later home made brown leather straps with nickel screws. Oval paper label: By Her Majesty’s Letters Patent/C. Wheatstone/Inventor/20 Conduit St., Regent St./London; Serial number 7208.
