Rattle drum

Rattle drum. Double membrane frame drum. A stick handle runs through the middle of the shell. It is wrapped in red paper, which has been cut into a plume effect at the top. The membranes are of brown paper, which also covers the shell. The shell and one membrane are decorated with adhered red paper cutout designs. Small rattling pellets wrapped in brown paper are attached to the sides of the shell with thread.
